Welcome to Avalon Karate and Fitness!

We are excited to coordinate with the City of Avalon to establish a new traditional karate school on Santa Catalina Island.

Instruction will include forms (Kata), sparring (Kumite), traditional Okinawan weapons (Kobudo), as well as various self-defense techniques that create the core foundation of our karate training.

All students are welcome, regardless of their age, experience and/or background. Beginning students start with karate basics and grow as their skill level advances.

Eventually and depending on the student’s level of commitment, skill and fitness levels will improve and there will be a significant boost in confidence, discipline, focus, and sense of achievement.
